Gora's Pixie Staff

In the past few years, since the dragon staff became popular around the world, Gora received the feedback from fire dancers with a shorter body type and lighter weight that the previous versions of the dragon staff were a bit heavy for them to play freely.

The core tube of the Pixie Staff is made of 15mm X 1mm 7075 aluminium alloy. The cross rods are made of 8mm 7075 aluminium alloy. This material makes such a durable construction with such a light weight possible! It has the same tensile strength as steel, but it is light like aluminium (157 g at 1.2 m length). It is used in the space industry and for special aircrafts.

The core tube has a soft spongy EPDM base with a non-slippery quality tennis grip overlay. The soft touch of the EPDM layer guarantees better contact with your Pixie Staff and the tennis grip overlay makes sure that your hand won’t slip even if you sweat!

The Pixie Staff cannot be disassembled, therefore it is not practical for air travel. If you need a lightweight dragon staff which you can disassemble, we recommend you choose a Dragon Staff light with a 120 cm carbon fiber tube and Dragon Staff Adapters. This configuration has a total weight of 810 g and is the ideal choice if you want to invest in a lightweight staff for your travels.

I recommend the Pixie Staff as a more budget friendly alternative to fire dancers with smaller body types who do not need to take their dragon staff with them on airplanes but want to fully enjoy their dragon, while being able to perform dancing moves with the grace of a fairy!
