2-Point Aerial Hoop
Unlock new and exciting moves with our premium 2-point aerial hoop, available in a classic pearl black finish. This hoop opens up a variety of rigging options, allowing for dynamic performances and creative choreography.
Quality & Safety
Manufactured in the UK, our 2-point hoop is crafted to the highest standards. It has undergone rigorous testing by independent safety testers, ensuring it is fully certified and safe to use.
Be a Star
With a 2-point aerial hoop, you can utilize the top of the bar in unique ways, enabling moves that are only possible with this design, such as the impressive Star on Top Bar.
-
Extra Height, Extra Moves: If you have the height, you can rig your hoop with extra-long strops to create a long isosceles triangle. This opens up even more moves, allowing you to use the space between the ropes, much like a dance trapeze.
-
Perfectly Spaced Tabs: The tabs on our 2-point hoop are set at the ideal distance apart, ensuring you can comfortably use the space between the ropes without feeling cramped.
Sizing
Refer to our size guide for standard aerial hoop measurements. If you plan to use this hoop for doubles, consider opting for a larger size. Note: All sizes listed are the external diameter; for internal measurements, deduct 5 cm (2 inches).
To Spin or Not to Spin
-
For Stability: If you prefer the hoop to remain stationary, connect each strop/rope vertically to an anchor point with a carabiner. This setup ensures you face the audience consistently.
-
For Spinning: To allow the hoop to spin, create a triangle (or upside-down V) with your ropes/strops above the hoop, known as a bridle. Use a rigging plate to safely connect each rope to a single point. A carabiner will attach to the top of the rigging plate, connecting to a swivel, followed by another carabiner securing you to your anchor point. A Triangle Hanging Rope can also be used.

How to Rig a 2-Point Hoop
-
You can choke a Polyester Strop or Aerial PolySafe Rope from each tab. This method reduces metal-on-metal wear and removes hardware from where you will hock on.
-
Attach a Polyester Strop, Aerial PolySafe Rope, Aerial CottonSafe Rope, or Dyna-Core Hanging Rope to each tab using a carabiner.
-
While you can use a Prodigy Aerial Sewn Loop Sling for certain setups, we don't recommend this for long-term rigging. They may be suitable for performances where less visible rigging is preferred.
